National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST)
NPUST moved to its current location in Laopi in 1986. Situated against Mount Dawu and beside the Donggang River, the campus covers 298.3 hectares, making it the largest in the nation. The campus buildings are designed to follow the natural terrain, showcasing a simple and rustic character with vast, picturesque views. The stunning scenery rivals that of a national park, earning the school the nickname National Park University. It is an ideal place for students to develop professional skills, cultivate their character, and strengthen their physical and mental well-being, as well as a perfect environment for faculty research and teaching.
