Wanjin Church
The Wanchin Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, commonly known as Wanjin Church, is a Catholic Minor Basilica located in Wanjin Village, Wanluan Township, Pingtung County. The history of the parish dates back to 1861, and the current church building was opened in 1870, making it the oldest existing church building in Taiwan. It was designated as a Grade III historic site on November 27, 1985, and was later reclassified as a county-level monument. The parish grounds also include a Dominican convent and a parish center.
