V.I.P ZONE

Shengli New Village is a cluster of Japanese-style dormitories in Pingtung City, Pingtung County, and is now the V.I.P ZONE. Built in 1937, it originally served as the Chonglan army officials' quarters for the Pingtung Airfield. After the war, it became the Shengli New Village military dependents' village. In 2007, it was registered as a historical building of Pingtung City along with the neighboring Chongren New Village (Chenggong District) to its south. It was the first among many Japanese-style architectural clusters in downtown Pingtung to be designated as a cultural heritage site.

The Pingtung County Government began the restoration and adaptive reuse project for Shengli New Village in 2010, and various operators have since moved in. Initially planned as the Pingtung City Military Dependents' Village Cultural Park, it was renamed V.I.P ZONE in 2018.
