Yunxiang Traditional Noodle Eatery
Located in Xishi Village, Zhutian Township, this old noodle shop is about a 5-minute walk from the Xishi bus stop (turn left from Guangming Road onto Longmen Road). Here, you can experience the charm of a simple Hakka settlement and enjoy traditional Hakka flavors that are both delicious and affordable.
This long-standing shop focuses on every detail, using homemade braised minced pork and fragrant fried red shallots. Their broth is made even more savory and sweet with pork liver marinated in rice wine. The dry noodles, flat noodles (Ban Tiao), and rice vermicelli are all highly recommended, along with their tasty side dishes. The owner is exceptionally friendly, making this hidden countryside gem a must-visit for its unique local character. After your meal, don't miss the excellent traditional handmade tofu pudding shop right next door!
